SOUTHARK.EDU — Website Redesign & Ongoing Management
When South Arkansas College transitioned to a new CMS (Apptegy), I led the full redesign and migration of the college’s website. From overseeing file transfers and re-structuring pages to designing new graphics and implementing custom CSS/HTML, I ensured the project not only preserved institutional branding but also expanded the platform’s capabilities beyond its defaults.
To give the site a modern edge, I introduced motion graphics into headers and banners, creating a more dynamic, engaging user experience. I continue to design and update homepage banners, graphics, and news features, while also capturing and editing photography for marketing use. Beyond design, I manage the publication and upkeep of key resources such as the Course Catalog, Academic Policy Manual, and event calendars, keeping the site accurate, accessible, and visually consistent.

I This is a website for the State of Arkansas, showcasing the seven counties that make up South Arkansas.
- Design and implement custom WordPress websites tailored to client needs
- Integrate third-party tools like Smart Slider 3 to create a pleasant and appealing opening page.
- Utilized Formidable Forms to create a database of counties, their festivals and events, cultural and historical locations, and outdoor hunting and fishing spots.
- Used Javascript to create a method where visitors can save an event or attraction without logging in.

I developed and maintain a comprehensive website for Salon One Twenty Four, a full-service salon in Camden, Arkansas, specializing in women’s hair loss solutions and skincare. The site leverages WordPress as its core platform, integrating advanced functionalities through:
- WooCommerce for e-commerce capabilities
- BookingPress for appointment scheduling
- WPForms for user-friendly contact forms
- BlossomThemes for aesthetic design
To meet specific client requirements, I customized the BlossomThemes code, enhancing its native functionality. This project showcases my proficiency in WordPress development, plugin integration, and ability to tailor solutions to unique business needs.

I developed a website for TenantMatch.biz, an innovative web service for Property Owners’ Associations. This solution demonstrates my ability to:

- Utilize email marketing platforms such as MailChimp for automated information distribution
- Streamline communication processes between property owners and potential tenants
